چکیده
The enhancement in cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) productivity is intently needed due to the ever-increasing demand, considered a vital vegetable commodity with complete nutrition and high economic value Indonesia. Conventional plant breeding one of strategies produce superior cultivars increased yield. Thus, latest research aimed identify genetic diversity gene inheritance patterns for selecting high-yielding F2 populations made through double three-way crosses. said employed an augmented design combined randomized block as environmental design. factors consisted non-repeating lines limited number seeds originating from 10 parental populations. resulting 100 52 F22 individual populations, obtained crosses, respectively, were evaluated comparison four control cultivars, i.e., Bara, Dewata, Ungara, Katokkon. non-repeated rows, divided into five blocks, included planted repeatedly each block. results indicated that almost all traits have heritability potential use selection criteria. habitus (0.135), stem diameter (0.202), productive branches (0.359), fruit weight (0.171) direct utmost influence on yield compared other traits; thus, these promising can serve criteria along

Genetic Variation and Inheritance of Early Growth Characteristics in Three Wild Pistachio Populations
Pistacia atlantica is the most important tree species for the economy of many rural areas in west of Iran, but no effort has been made for the genetic improvement of this species. The aim of this investigation was to study the genetic variation and inheritance of early growth traits in P. atlantica. For this purpose, three wild pistachio populations comprising 60 randomly selected adult trees f...
متن کاملGenetic analysis of seed yield and oil content in safflower using F1 and F2 progenies of diallel crosses
Improvement of seed yield and oil content in safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) as an oilseed crop is the main objective of its breeding programs. However, little genetic information is available for these traits. The main objective of this study was to estimate genetic parameters for seed yield and oil content. Six safflower lines each derived from different Iranian local populations and Saff...

15 صفحه اولComplex Genetic Architecture Revealed by Analysis of HDL in Chromosome Substitution Strains and F2 Crosses
Intercrosses between inbred lines provide a traditional approach to analysis of polygenic inheritance in model organisms. Chromosome substitution strains (CSS) have been developed as an alternative to accelerate the pace of gene identification in quantitative trait mapping. We compared a classical intercross and three CSS intercrosses to examine the genetic architecture underlying plasma high-d...
